Training

Teach the team to find and fix it themselves.

Live, role-based workshops taught by the consultant who does the audits, not a licensed slide deck. Your team leaves able to test their own work against WCAG before it ships.

01 · Live workshops

A working session, not a webinar rerun.

Delivered over video call or on-site, built around real screens from your product rather than generic slides. Attendees test live with a screen reader and keyboard, not just watch a demo.

Typical group size: up to 15 people per session. Larger teams are split into role-based tracks below.

What's included

  • Agenda built from your product's real components and templates, not stock examples
  • Live keyboard and screen reader demonstrations of common failure patterns
  • WCAG success criteria mapped to the roles in the room: design, content, or code
  • Practical checklist attendees can apply the same day
  • Recording and slide deck for anyone who missed the session
  • 30 minutes of follow-up Q&A within two weeks

$850 half-day · $1,600 full-day. Full-day sessions cover two roles or two product areas in depth.

02 · Role-based tracks

The same barrier looks different from every seat.

Each track covers the WCAG criteria and tools relevant to that role, so the session stays specific instead of generic.

Developers

Semantic HTML, focus management, ARIA patterns that actually help, and the assistive-technology combinations testing will use against their code.

Designers

Colour contrast, target size, focus indication, and error states, reviewed against your actual design system and components.

Content authors

Heading structure, link text, alternative text, and document accessibility for the CMS and PDF workflows your team actually uses.

QA & procurement

How to read a VPAT/ACR, what to ask vendors, and a lightweight manual test pass QA can run before every release.

03 · How it works

Built around your product before the session starts.

No generic curriculum. The agenda is drafted from screens and components you provide, then confirmed before the date is booked.

  1. Scope call

15 minutes to confirm roles in the room, product areas to cover, and delivery format.

  2. Custom agenda

A written outline built from your components and templates, reviewed before the session is booked.

  3. Live session

Delivered over video call or on-site, with hands-on testing rather than slide-only lecture.

  4. Recap & resources

Recording, checklist, and slide deck sent within two business days, plus a follow-up Q&A window.

04 · Can't schedule a live session?

A recorded option for smaller budgets.

A recorded webinar covering the fundamentals: WCAG structure, common failure patterns, and how to run a basic manual check. Useful for onboarding new hires without booking a live slot each time.

$475Recorded session with an accessible transcript, licensed for internal team use.
Same content, no live Q&ABest paired with a shorter live session later for questions specific to your product.
Training FAQ

Questions buyers ask before booking

Does this satisfy Ontario's AODA training requirement?

The Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation requires training for employees and volunteers on the accessibility standards relevant to their role. This session covers WCAG and accessible-design obligations directly, but confirm your specific policy and record-keeping requirements with whoever manages your AODA compliance program.

Is this the same as an audit?

No. An audit tests your live product and reports specific defects. Training builds the skill to catch those defects internally, before an audit or a user ever finds them.

Can you cover WCAG 2.2 and mobile apps, not just web?

Yes. The agenda is scoped to your platforms during the intake call, including WCAG 2.2 AA criteria and native mobile patterns where relevant.

Do you provide a certificate of completion?

Attendees receive a summary of what was covered for internal training records. No private party, including this practice, can certify legal or universal WCAG compliance.

Remote or on-site?

Both. Remote sessions are priced as published. On-site sessions include travel costs, scoped on the call.

A short scope call is enough to draft an agenda specific to your product.
